Incubus Joined by Lizzo at Hollywood Bowl for Album Anniversary Performance
The pop singer joined the rock group for a performance of the track 'Aqueous Transmission'
Rock band Incubus hit the stage in Hollywood this past weekend — with one special guest in tow.
On Friday, pop singer Lizzo joined the group onstage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles for a performance of Incubus' track "Aqueous Transmission" from the album Morning View, as a part of the celebration of the set's upcoming 22nd anniversary.
Lizzo, who wrote on social media that joining the group onstage was a "childhood dream," sang and played the flute alongside vocalist Brandon Boyd.
"Those who know me… KNOW," the pop singer wrote on Instagram. "This is BEYOND a dream and FULL CIRCLE. I saw @incubusofficial perform 20 years ago at @woodlandspavilion for morning view (I’ve been a fan since S.C.I.E.N.C.E) and now to be at @hollywoodbowl performing Aqueous Transmission with @sashabefluting — I WAS A PUDDLE ON THE FLOOR— thank you INCUBUS for everything but also for inviting me on stage and making my childhood dreams come true."
"IM NOT OVER IT," Lizzo continued in a separate post, sharing a video of herself and the band's members being photographed together.
In another Instagram post from Incubus' official account, the band thanked the pop star for joining them.
"Thank you @lizzobeeating for joining us at the Bowl. Was an honor to share the stage with you," they wrote.

The Oct. 6 show featured Incubus playing their entire Morning View record, as well as a few other special guests. Incubus co-founder Mike Einziger's wife Ann-Marie Calhoun and the pair's children also joined Lizzo for an appearance during "Aqueous Transmission," with Calhoun on the violin.
The singer's appearance at the Bowl comes amid mounting legal problems — back in August, Lizzo was sued by three former dancers and accused of sexual harassment, assault, false imprisonment and more. Lizzo's team denied the allegations, and her attorney shared that she plans to countersue the group of dancers for their "sham" lawsuit.
