Tracy Marrow Jr., the son of actor and rapper Ice T, is facing criticism after he cut an influencer's hair during a livestream.

Over the weekend, streamer Malek_04 was broadcasting live on Twitch, seemingly capturing a small party of mostly Twitch streamers together in Las Vegas, all of whom were in town for TwitchCon.

During the stream, Marrow — who has more than 6,000 followers on Twitch — approached Malek, as she stood in front of the camera eating. After seemingly pretending to smell her hair, Marrow then took a pair of scissors and cut off several inches of her locks.

"Wait, what the f---?” Malek can be heard saying in the clip, as another person off-camera responds, "What the f---, man?"

"Yo, who wants it?" Marrow says, holding up the hair to the camera.

On Monday, Marrow, 31, took to X (formerly Twitter) to comment on the incident.

"I guess [I'm] a bad guy," he wrote. "... Sorry @Malek04Official my intrusive thoughts won."

Malek also took to X, writing that she will make a statement about the incident during her next livestream.

"10 million views in less than 24hrs is insane," she wrote. "Yes, this is me. I appreciate everyone who has been reaching out, I will address the situation live on my twitch..."

Viewers on social media were quick to criticize Marrow, some even debating whether or not the incident was assault.

"Ice T’s son assaults Twitch Streamer by cutting her hair off without consent," one user wrote.

"The obsession that this new generation has with humiliating people for Social media clicks is insane," another wrote. "They abandon a moral compass and are cruel to people they don't know for validation."

"Cutting someone’s hair without consent is completely sinister i know that sounds dramatic," another user wrote, "but ... literally for what reason would you do it besides deeply hating someone?"
