‘iCarly’ Star Nathan Kress Shares Glimpse Into His ‘Magical’ Reality With 3 Kids (Exclusive)

Like many actors, Nathan Kress is spending less time on sets and more time at home during the SAG-AFTRA strike.

But while stepping out for the 24th annual Party on the Pier event benefiting UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, the iCarly star couldn't help but gush about his new chapter as a father to three kids.  

"I wouldn't trade this time for anything," he exclusively told The Messenger before enjoying rides and carnival games at the Santa Monica Pier with his family. "This is so critical, those first five years. If I can just live with these guys and then worry about working later, this is what I want to be here for. It's magical. I love it. It sucks to not have anything to do, but with these guys, I got plenty to do."

When gushing about his kids, Kress described his oldest child Rosie as "the classic Type A, firstborn, driven, go-getter" daughter. 

"Her brain is absolutely incredible," he said. "I'm pretty sure she's going to be an engineer. In the last two weeks, that's what it's been."

His middle child Evie is "my sweetie pie" and "daddy's girl cuddle bug."

As for his newborn son Lincoln, who arrived in June, Kress can't believe how well-behaved he is. "We just have our quiet boy time whenever possible," he joked. "We'll just sit in absolute silence. It's amazing. I didn't know that existed."

Peace and quiet, however, isn't exactly a regular occurrence. Kress painted a picture of 18 forts in various stages of construction currently inside his house. And before enjoying a family fun day in support of UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, the actor joked that "getting out the door for a photo-ready event has become a little bit more of an ordeal."

So how does he do it? Kress is quick to give credit to his wife London Kress for being nothing short of a superwoman.

"There's nobody else in the world who I can pull this off with," he said. "Just knowing that no matter how hard the day is, I'm still ending it with my best friend? Just knowing that this is something that we built from the ground up and it's going to go until the day I die with the best person in the whole world? There's nothing that can beat that."

"These guys are my clan," he added about his family. "They're my party people. I'll go anywhere with them. It doesn't matter how many snacks they need in the car."
