‘Haunted Mansion’ Stars Jamie Lee Curtis, LaKeith Stanfield, Owen Wilson Spotted at Disneyland
The stars were captured on camera by excited fans who spotted them in the park's New Orleans Square
Where better for the stars of next month's Disney film Haunted Mansion to convene...than at the famed theme park that inspired the production itself?
Eagle-eyed fans at Southern California's Disneyland park spotted and captured pictures of Jamie Lee Curtis, LaKeith Stanfield and Owen Wilson together on the balcony of the 21 Royal Suite. The exclusive dining space is located above the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in New Orleans Square, and is just a short distance away from the actual Haunted Mansion ride itself.
The actors appeared to be doing promotional interviews for the film, as they were flanked by lights and microphones. The pictures, shared to social media, were quickly picked up by popular Disneyland celeb-sighting accounts, with some fans mentioning they'd seen the stars circulating around the park during the day.
The new Haunted Mansion movie debuts July 28, and comes nearly 20 years after the cult favorite Eddie Murphy adaptation hit theaters. The new film has been in the works since 2010, finally settling on Dear White People creator Justin Simien as director.
In addition to Curtis, Stanfield and Wilson, the cast includes Rosario Dawson, Tiffany Haddish, Danny DeVito and Jared Leto.
