Halsey and Catherine O’Hara to Split Performance as Sally of Hollywood Bowl’s ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ Production
The 30th Anniversary concert will take place for for three nights: Oct. 27 through Oct. 29
The Nightmare Before Christmas is returning to the Hollywood Bowl — this time with two special guests playing Sally.
Halsey will be singing the role of Sally on the first two nights of the production, while Catherine O'Hara — who was the original voice of Sally in the 1993 movie — will perform on the third night, according to Variety. Phoebe Bridges and Billie Eilish have previously performed as Sally in separate productions.
O'Hara will also step into the role of Shock, which will be performed by Riki Lindhome on the first two nights. Danny Elfman will return as Jack Skellington, Ken Page will return as Oogie Boogie and Fred Armisen will take on the role of Lock.
The 30th Anniversary concert will take place for for three nights: Oct. 27 through Oct. 29.
The Nightmare Before Christmas, which tells the story of Jack Skellington who schemes to take over Christmas town, has been performed at the Bowl in 2015, 2016 and 2018.
Last month, The Messenger confirmed that Halsey and Avan Jogia have been dating for a few months.
Halsey has been dating Avan for a few months now," an insider said at the time. "They met through mutual friends in the music industry. He has a band and has been working on music so they have bonded over that and it's really brought them together."

The source added: "It's pretty serious now and Halsey has even introduced her son to Avan. She is on great terms with her ex and they are great co-parents. It's going well between them and there is no drama with Alev [Aydin]."
Earlier this year, Halsey and ex Aydin — who were first seen together in 2021 and share 2-year-old son Ender — ended their relationship. The singer requested full physical custody and joint legal custody of their son, as well as joint expenses with visitation rights for Aydin, according to court documents obtained by E! News.
