Six years ago, Netflix debuted an instant cult classic with GLOW, and the cast is still holding out hope for a finale after its abrupt cancellation even though two episodes of a Season 4 had already been filmed.

GLOW's Kate Nash, who played Rhonda Richardson aka Britannica, and several of her co-stars celebrated the show's sixth anniversary on Friday, sharing some behind-the-scenes memories and urging Netflix to "finish what you started."

"6 years ago today the best tv show ever made graced your screens," she wrote on an Instagram post alongside a trailer for GLOW. "Happy Anniversary to the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling."

Quoting Zoya the Destroya, the wrestling persona of main character Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie), Nash added, "Oi @netflix finish what you started!…or are you 'too much sissy?'"

Inspired by the 1980s syndicated wrestling show GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling), the dramedy followed a group of struggling actresses in Hollywood who find their spotlight and some sisterly empowerment while putting together a wrestling show.

Created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, the show ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2019 and won three Emmy Awards before Netflix pulled the plug amid the COVID-19 pandemic, two episodes into filming on the fourth and final season.

"GLOW first aired on @netflix 6 years ago today!" Nash wrote on Twitter. "Personally I think Season 4 (that’s already written, costumes made & 2 episodes shot) should be brought back & finished. That’s just me tho."

Britney Young, who played Carmen Wade (aka Machu Picchu), shared a throwback photo earlier this week of herself and co-star Sydelle Noel (Cherry Bang, aka Junkchain and Black Magic) filming a Season 3 mud wrestling scene.

"These photos popped up on my iPhone memories today and I had to do a double take and then it all came rushing back to me how truly special the #glownetflix experience was," she wrote on Instagram. "Also how how many showers we had to take after this rehearsal and shooting the scene."

Co-stars Shakira Barrera, Marianna Palka, Rebekka Johnson and Kimmy Gatewood also recognized the anniversary, sharing some throwback photos.

"GLOW girls forever!" wrote Nash in one Instagram story that made the rounds.

The anniversary comes after Flahive and Mensch reunited with several of the show's stars, including Young, Noel, Johnson, Gatewood, Jackie Tohn and Victor Quinaz, on the WGA picket line outside of Netflix earlier this month. Some even re-wore their favorite wardrobe pieces from the show.

GLOW is now streaming on Netflix.
