Get the Sofia Richie Look: Isabel Alysa Reveals the It-Girl’s Go-To Summer Staple (Exclusive)

Everyone is a fan of a good summer tan.

And nobody knows that more than celebrity tan artist Isabel Alysa. After years of experience working with Hollywood's biggest stars like the Kardashians, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lopez, the Dolce Glow CEO and founder has learned the tricks to a fresh, healthy glow. 

But before her clients walk down a red carpet or get photographed on their biggest celebrations, Alysa says there's a bit of preparation. 

"The biggest thing is always getting to know what it is that they're doing," she exclusively told The Messenger. "Are they going on a trip to Mexico? Are they walking the Met Gala? What is the vibe? What is the look? What's the feel? And also what color is their dress?"

Alysa certainly took some of those questions into consideration when she prepared Sofia Richie for her April wedding day in the South of France. 

Because the model naturally tans easily in the sun, Alysa said less product was more beneficial on Richie's wedding day. 

"The goal for her – and this is what I love so much about Dolce Glow – is we weren't trying to change her skin color," Alysa shared. "We were just trying to define and even out her skin tone. The goal was to give her a soft glow or a sunkissed glow. We were able to do this the night before with one coat."

And as it turns out, her strategy paid off big time.

"Her entire look was a take-my-breath-away moment to where it's like you don't know what she did, but she looks so good," Alysa explained. "It was perfect. It was just enhancing and adding a little dash of something to create that icing on the cake because she's actually so beautiful."
