‘Frozen’ Co-Stars Kristen Bell, Josh Gad Reunite at Broadway’s ‘Gutenberg!’: Photos (Exclusive)
Kristen Bell surprised the audience as a guest star in Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells' latest Broadway show, 'Gutenberg! The Musical!'
Audiences were treated to a Frozen reunion at Broadway's Gutenberg! The Musical! last Friday. The show, starring power duo Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells, welcomed a guest star to the stage, and it was none other than Gad's Disney co-star Kristen Bell.
The musical comedy consistently has different celebrities appear in the role of Guest Producer, and Bell was the latest addition.
Previously, stars including Ben Platt, Busy Philipps, Christian Slater, Cynthia Erivo, Dylan Mulvaney, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, John Stamos, Jonathan Groff, Josh Groban, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Marcia Gay Harden, Nathan Lane and Vanessa Williams made cameos in the production.
Additionally, Bell helped the show's efforts to fundraise for non-profit organization Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, including offering photos with her backstage after the show as an auction item.
Gad and Rannells, who first starred together in the original Broadway production of The Book of Mormon, portray friends and aspiring playwrights striving to drum up support for their musical about the invention of the printing press. Enter: the Producer.
Bell and Gad joined forces for Disney's hit animated movie series Frozen in 2013 and Frozen 2 in 2019; they voiced the characters of Princess Anna and her best snowman friend, Olaf, respectively.
