The Messenger reached out to the Belmont Police Department for further information but has not heard back.

Karagias celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife in 2021, and the couple share three sons and one daughter.

The former pro wrestler debuted for World Championship Wrestling in 1997.

At WCW Mayhem in November 1999, Karagias defeated Disco Inferno to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, his first major pro wrestling title.

Karagias would lose the title the following month to his former manager Madusa, who pinned him at WCW Starrcade in December 1999 to become the first woman to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.

He would later form the group 3 Count with Shane Helms and Shannon Moore before retiring from wrestling full-time in 2001.

In addition to his pro wrestling work, Karagias has also appeared on soap operas All My Children and Passions.
