Elon Musk’s Ex Grimes and Shivon Zilis Make Peace, Promise Playdates

Shivon Zilis and Grimes, who were previously pregnant with Elon Musk's children at the same time, have put any possible rifts following the singer's previous only comments about the trio's situation and their kids.

Grimes revealed she extended an olive branch via her account on Musk's social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) on Sunday evening.

The singer-songwriter shared that she and Zilis spoke "at length finally" in a conversation she described as "long overdue."

"This wasn't her fault, plz don't be angry at her! We respect each other a lot and we're excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together," she continued.

Added Grimes: "I truly apologize for responding to Walter [Isaacson, who recently wrote a biography on Musk] like that. As u can imagine, that was a very gut level reaction to a thing that has been very hard for me. Communication about the twins wasn't handled super well in the past, but I now totally understand what happened and totally forgive the situation."

She continued: "Women are so often pitted against each other. Speaking with Shivon, it's very evident she's an amazing human and we both just want what's best for our kids."

She ended by telling fans she wants them to see "how cute" her and Musk's youngest child, Techno is, however, she wants to keep her children "out of the public eye."

Expressing appreciation, Zilis responded, "At the end of the day it all ended up for the best! Thank you for taking the time to really connect and understand each other. So glad we had such a wonderful talk, was insanely overdue. You’re a total badass and I respect you very much as well. I can’t wait for kiddo play date and congrats on baby Tau as well!"

A new biography on the Tesla CEO revealed that he and Grimes privately welcomed a third child together, Techno Mechanicus, who goes by the nickname Tau.

The exes' first child together, son X Æ A-Xii, or X, was born in May 2020; their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, also known as Y, was born via surrogate in December 2021. They called it quits in September 2021, three years after going public with their relationship.

With Techno Mechanicus, Musk now has 10 known biological children with three different women — including Strider and Azure, born to Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis in November 2021. Grimes and Musk were expecting their second child at the time, and Musk didn't tell the singer that he had just had twins with one of his employees.

"Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer," Grimes reportedly tweeted earlier in September in response to a photo shared by journalist Walter Isaacson, whose biography confirmed the existence of Techno Mechanicus, featuring Musk's twins with Zilis.

"I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart," the musician wrote in a since-deleted alleged tweet that was screenshot by fans.
