After a two-year standoff with the Recording Academy, Drake has submitted his and and 21 Savage's 2022 album Her Loss for Grammy consideration.

According to BillboardHer Loss has been submitted for the Album of the Year and Best Rap Album at the 2024 ceremony. Additionally, two of its singles, "Rich Flex" and "Spin Bout U," were submitted in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance categories.

Drake's collaborations with Travis Scott and Young Thug have also been submitted for Grammy consideration this year.

The For All the Dogs rapper, who boasts 51 nominations and 5 Grammy wins of his own, called out The Academy in 2022 over their snub of The Weeknd's massively successful album, After Hours.

"I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after," he said at the time. "It's like a relative you keep expecting to fix up but they just won't change their ways."

Drake followed that up by withdrawing his 2022 nominations and didn't submit his album Honestly, Nevermind for Grammy consideration in 2023 either.

After wrapping his It's All A Blur tour and dropping his latest album, Drake announced that he'll be taking a break from making music to "focus on my health."
