While addressing supporters at a campaign stop at a Virginia golf course on Tuesday, former President Donald Trump played Oliver Anthony's No. 1 hit song "Rich Men North of Richmond."

Footage of the moment is spreading around social media, and you can see Trump appearing to mouth words before letting the crowd sing along and pointing them out in the crowd.

Lyrically, Anthony's song calls out Washington D.C.'s wealthy politicians who are out of touch with America's working class.

"These rich men north of Richmond/Lord knows they all just wanna have total control," Anthony sings. "Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do/And they don't think you know, but I know that you do/'Cause your dollar ain't s--- and it's taxed to no end/'Cause of rich men north of Richmond."

In August, the singer-songwriter slammed the use of the song at the Republication presidential debate.

"I wrote that song about those people," he said, referring to the candidates. "For them to sit there and have to listen to that, that cracks me up."

Anthony also called it "aggravating to see certain musicians and politicians act like we’re buddies, like we're fighting the same struggle here."

Though the 31-year-old has described his political beliefs as "dead center," he recently posed for a photo with Democratic presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife Cheryl Hines.
