Corinne Olympios Teases a Return to ‘House of Villains’ After Elimination: ‘My Inner Villain Will Be Back’ (Exclusive)

Plus, here's why she thinks Omarosa is a 'snake'

Another villain has been catapulted from House of Villains, and this time it's Corinne Olympios. Corinne went into Thursday night's episode as one of three contestants on the chopping block, courtesy of this week's supervillain, Omarosa Manigault-Newman (who'd been side-eyeing her from the start of their time in the house simply because Corinne didn't know her).

However, she also had some very tight alliances with housemates like Johnny Bananas and Bobby Lytes, and even her fellow elimination nominee, Tanisha Thomas, was working alongside her in hopes of getting out the house's least favorite villain, Shake Chatterjee.

Unfortunately for Corinne and Tanisha, though, the redemption challenge was practically designed to favor Shake. After a nice lunch on the town — in which Corinne dutifully served her peers mimosas in an effort to solidify their votes — they all returned to the house to find a giant room full of various creepy crawly creatures that they had to dig through. Considering Corinne is deathly afraid of insects and the like, while Shake is a veterinarian and spends all kinds of time with wild animals, the deck was stacked against them, and Shake was able to secure immunity.

Even so, the votes could've easily gone against Tanisha, who failed to even try at the redemption challenge. However, with one gospel reincarnation of her infamous pots and pans moment, the house vote started to sway in her favor, and Corinne was unanimously voted out.

The Messenger spoke to Corinne Olympios about her exit from the E! reality competition series, and she revealed that we have not seen the last of her yet.

You got on Omarosa's bad side on day one. Did you really not know who she was, or was that like a power move on your part?

Corinne Olympios: I did not know who she was. No.

She seemed to soften her stance with you over time. Did you ever feel like you guys were allies at any point?

I feel like there was a point where she needed me to believe that she was becoming an ally. Or at least we were going to work together. I mean, I didn't expect her to be my friend until the end — at least to a certain point — but that was silly on my part because I should have just known a snake is a snake.

When you came in and saw the other cast members in the beginning, did you have any other preconceptions from the start?

No. I really was like open-minded, open-hearted. I was really excited to be there and meet everybody. And then she just was a nice slap in the face for me.

With New York, you seemed to really have a friendship on the show. What went into your decision to vote against her? Was it just the way the house was moving?

It was the way the house is moving, and her and I were kind of ruffling each other's feathers a little bit. Everyone in the house was, to my knowledge, voting her out except for Bobby, and I needed allies after whoever was going to leave was going to leave. So I didn't want to be the only one that didn't follow the house and vote for New York to stay, which honestly, in hindsight, I should have. But you know, I was just trying to play the game. It was nothing against her. I do love her. She is a friend of mine. We'll always be friends, and I'll always be here for her. So that was really nice that I got a genuine friendship out of it.

Tanisha took it pretty personally that Omarosa voted for her, but you seem to take it in stride. How did you keep your temper in that moment?

I kept my temper in that moment because I was thinking OK, Tanisha doesn't do anything. She doesn't really try. And everybody hates Shake. So the last thing I thought in that moment was I'm going to be the one on out of these three going home.

Speaking of Shake, Tanisha seemed to think that it was unfair that you guys had an animal challenge since he's a vet. Did you agree?

Oh, yeah. We missed a whole part about me having a literal meltdown and freaking out and screaming that Shake is a vet. And this is not fair. So yeah, it wasn't just her, believe me. I had a full meltdown, full meltdown.

How did you get over your fear to try and touch the animals?

I was like, listen, the people inside are counting on me. We can't have Shake win. At least I'm gonna give it my all so I can leave here knowing I tried my hardest.

And when you did that, did you feel like it kind of sealed you not being the house vote?

I did at first, and everyone at first was like, "You did it. You tried. We're keeping you." And then everyone was like, "Wait a minute, we need to keep the person that's really not a threat." And then I was kind of thinking the same thing. And, you know, I was like, maybe they aren't thinking that way. So I thought I had a chance, but now when 200 grand is on the line. They need the person there that's the least threatening.

In the show, the edit makes it look like her stunt had something to do with it. What did you make of that?

Well, we also don't get to see what I did for the cast, OK, which might have also sealed the deal for me leaving. I made everybody corn and had a little corn party. But nobody liked the corn. They were like, "This is really disgusting." I'm like, "Well, I never said I was a good cook, but like I'm trying to feed you." So I did try. Her fiasco definitely was entertaining and fun. So good for her.

You seemed excited to meet Spencer Pratt. Do you think if he had been on the show that you guys might have been allies?

Well, I knew Spencer from beforehand. He has a crystal company, and my company did a collab, my jewelry company, Aura Sugar Co. that I own with my sister and my business partner. We did a collab with Pratt Daddy Crystals, and it was a huge success. So we came out and had some meetings and we met, we did some content. It was super fun. Him and Heidi [Montag] are amazing.

When you were having that fireside pump chat with the Johnnys and Bobby and Anfisa, did you actually believe they would help you? Did they sell you on that?

Yeah, everyone kind of sold me on wanting to keep me. But the day of the elimination, it was weird because like me and Bananas were like this [crosses fingers]. And then he just wasn't talking to me that day. So I was like, "Ooh." And then I said to Fairplay, "Do you swear on Jessica" — who is his now-fiancé — "Do you swear on Jessica that you aren't voting for me?" And he was like, "I can't do that." And I was like, "OK."

Speaking of Johnny, it seems like you guys stayed friends afterwards.

Bananas? Yeah. Bananas is a friend of mine. Yes.

You guys did Halloween together, right?

Yes, we did.

So looking back, like what were some of your favorite moments in the show? You seem to be one of the most energetic people on the cast.

Yes. And there were a lot of really fun moments on the show. And it was a lot of anxiety. But I think one of the funniest things they did was the music video of me and Bananas, which is just like so, so funny. I love comedy. I do stand-up comedy. So things like that — that just make it light-hearted and fun — because we are real people outside of this game. So it's just cool and fun. That was great. That was so fun. It was a great moment.

You've told me two things now that we didn't get to see before, so was there anything else that we didn't get to see that you wanted to share?

Yeah, there's a lot that wasn't shown. But I think we really got all the great moments on television. I think there was a moment in the first episode with the balls where I'm trying to get Johnny Bananas' ball out, and I'm just getting thrown against the side, and I'm just bouncing up and down. It was great, but it didn't make the cut. So I did wish people got to see that funny moment, but everything was just really great. And I'm so happy I got to be a part of it.

You said at the end that you consider yourself a villain, but you didn't come off as a villain. Do you feel like a villain yet? Or is that just kind of how the show made you feel?

Well, a little secret is that you definitely have not seen the last of the house. The cast members that were eliminated have a lot to do with the last episode. So yes, my inner villain will be back.
