A variety of Beatles memorabilia, including items from John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1969 peace protest and a controversial greeting card signed by George Harrison, is set to go up later this month in one of the most expensive Beatles auctions ever.

The online auction will be hosted by New York's GottaHaveRockandRoll, with two sessions ending on Sept. 22 and 23.

In addition to the peace protest archive, the auction includes an autographed section of the wall from the band’s breakthrough appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.

The Harrison greeting card up for sale features Harrison penning a birthday message in German and signing it "Adolf Schickengruber," with a scrawled cartoon of what appears to be Adolf Hitler.

As the lot description explains, Harrison had been accused in the past of having an interest in Nazi memorabilia, which "he always denied most vehemently," even going so far as to successfully sue a tabloid which wrote about the purported interest.

Other less-charged items up for bid include a variety of signed contracts, clothing belonging to the Fab Four, recording equipment, instruments, concert posters and more.
