Christina Aguilera Hopes ‘Everything Is All Good’ With Britney Spears Ahead of Memoir Release
'I think the future should be celebrated,' Aguilera told Jimmy Kimmel when asked about Spears' upcoming book
Christina Aguilera isn't sure if she will be featured in Britney Spears' upcoming memoir.
As anticipation continues to build for the release of The Woman In Me on Oct. 24, one of Spears' peers is simply sending her best wishes to the author before speculating about the book's contents.
"I'm hoping that, you know, everything is all good with her and everything's beautiful," Aguilera said on Monday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! "I think the future should be celebrated."
When host Kimmel asked if she will be featured in the book, Aguilera responded, "I don't know."
And when the host joked that he would like to be featured in the memoir, the former Voice coach didn't object.
"Let's put it this way," Aguilera replied. "I'd rather be it you than me. So hopefully you'll be in it. You'll make the book."

In excerpts from her upcoming memoir obtained by People, Spears discusses her relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, including their decision to have an abortion.
Spears is also expected to open up about other chapters in her life, including the time she was under a conservatorship and her years of performing.
Aguilera and Spears both starred in the Mickey Mouse Club revival in the early '90s before becoming pop superstars. Both artists have had the chance to perform at Las Vegas residencies, with Aguilera preparing to launch one at the end of the year inside Voltaire at the Venetian Las Vegas.
"It's such a creative experience for me unlike anything I've ever done because it's a special, exclusive — only a thousand seats per night — and I'm not on until midnight," she said in her latest interview. "It's super interactive with the audience, which I've never been so up close and personal with them so it's going to be a super fun night."
