Carly Pearce and Riley King have gone their separate ways, The Messenger can confirm.

"Carly and I have parted ways and I wish her nothing but the best in both her career and personal life," King told The Messenger on Wednesday.

The country music star and real estate professional, who began dating in April 2021, reportedly split over her "trust issues" following her 2020 divorce, according to Page Six.

"She has lot of trust issues," an insider told the outlet. "She went through that divorce with Michael Ray, and parts of that she's still coping with and struggling with."

In April, the "What He Didn't Do" singer gushed about how supportive King had been of her career throughout their relationship.

"This is all he wants for me to do," Carly told E! News ahead of the 2023 CMT Music Awards. "I think it's really hard to find a supportive significant other when you live this crazy life, and he does it like a champ."

Pearce, who seemingly deleted all photos of her and the former Major League Baseball player on her Instagram, has been busy promoting her new single with Chris Stapleton, "We Don't Fight Anymore."

"This song embodies a place that I think, if we are honest with ourselves, we've all felt at some point in a relationship," she wrote on Instagram earlier this week. "The distance that feels heartbreaking, yet you're also indifferent. I've always been a writer who never wanted to shy away from the 'uncomfortable' moments in all of our lives, and this song feels too important not to share."

The Messenger has reached out to reps for Pearce, but has not yet heard back.
