Carey Mulligan Casually Reveals Sex of Third Child

Carey Mulligan casually revealed the sex of her third child on the red carpet for the 2023 Variety Power of Women Los Angeles gala on Thursday.
"Oh, she's great," the Academy Award nominee told Entertainment Tonight with a thumbs up. "Great. Good baby, 10 out of 10 so far. We'll see how long that lasts."
Mulligan is married to Mumford and Sons frontman Marcus Mumford, and the couple shares two other children: Evelyn Grace, 7, and Wilfred, 5.
She first publicly revealed her family welcomed another child in Vogue's November cover story. Mulligan carried the infant into "a London coffee shop with a bemused gesture at the yellow diaper-leak stain streaked across her blouse" to meet the interviewer.
Mulligan reportedly addressed the baby, "I'm going to change you, and then we're going to find Mum another shirt."
The story also noted she gave birth six weeks prior to its Oct. 10 release. The baby's name is still not publicly known.
