After Caitlyn Jenner confirmed there hasn't been much communication between her and ex-wife Kris Jenner, the former Olympian has now revealed that she has not discussed her recent appearance in the House of Kardashian docuseries with the famous family.

Caitlyn, father of six children including Kylie and Kendall Jenner, explained to The Times of London part of the reason behind her decision to take part in the show.

"It's very difficult when you're in public life and in the media, especially the Kardashians," Caitlyn told the publication. "Sometimes it's just very disappointing to see how they're represented. And when they approached me about doing this show, once I thought about it, I thought, 'You know what? I want to get involved. I want to do my best to be very positive and really represent the family and the kids in a positive way.'"

Caitlyn was the only family member to appear in the documentary, which chronicles the group's storied rise to mogul status. The rest of the Kardashian-Jenner crew were not interviewed, but director Katie Hindley praised the family, claiming that her main takeaway from the process was how smart their business model is.

Caitlyn said she hasn't spoken with the family about the project nor her involvement.

"I really haven't talked with them about it. I'm kind of doing this on my own. I've been in the media for a long time,” she said. "I know how the game is played."

Caitlyn was married to Kris from 1991 to 2015, the same year the former professional athlete came out as transgender and announced her transition from Bruce to Caitlyn. The former athlete was a staple on the reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the catalyst for the family's enduring spotlight. After documenting her and her family's experience with her gender identity, Caitlyn exited the series as a main cast member but has returned as a guest.

The three-hour House of Kardashian aired in the U.K. on Oct. 8 on Sky Documentaries and streaming service Now, but a U.S distribution has not yet been announced.

Season 4 of The Kardashians is currently airing on Hulu.
