Brock Davies Thinks Wife Scheana Shay Deserves an Emmy After Scandoval (Exclusive)

"She has slowly but surely found her voice. She has found her confidence," Davies tells The Messenger of Shay's work on 'Vanderpump Rules'

After surviving Scandoval, Scheana Shay may just deserve an Emmy that's as good as gold.

That's a thought that has crossed Brock Davies' mind as his wife faced betrayals from best friends Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval this season on Vanderpump Rules.

But as Shay continues to have her voice heard during the show's three-part reunion, Davies remains in awe of how she has handled all the drama.

"Over the last four years, I have seen her grow into this Emmy-nominated reality star because she has slowly but surely found her voice," he exclusively told The Messenger Friday. "She has found her confidence."

Davies pointed to the Season 10 finale of Vanderpump Rules when his wife confronted Sandoval after he cheated on Ariana Madix with Leviss. In a tearful conversation, Shay said their friendship was over for good.

"In the peak of all this devastation and drama, she was able to — better than anyone else — handle a conversation with Sandoval and get the message across to him clearly," Davies explained. "It resonated with everybody."

Davies — who shares 2-year-old daughter Summer Moon with Shay — is also proud of how the "Good as Gold" singer expressed her feelings about Leviss after the latter filed a temporary restraining order against the former. While the TRO was later dismissed, Davies is still surprised Leviss showed little to no emotion while watching the reunion from a nearby trailer.

"Scheana articulated it perfectly and everybody felt that," he said. "The fact that she who should not be named didn't feel that? I know you're watching this from a TV, but we are watching it from a TV and felt that. It was real emotion and we lived that and she was a trooper."

As for the positive messages from fans about Shay's handling of Scandoval, Davies has a theory as to why so many people have been supportive.

"Previously, they wished Scheana had spoken up or stuck up for herself and said how she felt instead of being like, 'It's okay. They're just having a bad day,'" he detailed. "We are very proud of the woman she has grown up to be and this is the first time we've seen her say 'This is wrong' and 'No.'"

As Davies continues to watch the drama unfold with the rest of America, he says he tried his best to take a back seat to the recent season by filming less and focusing on his HOMEBODY app.

Co-founded by Davies, Sophia Das and Nicole Kamback, the fitness and wellness marketplace for the creator economy is being acquired by Athletifreak just in time for summer. It's an accomplishment Davies couldn't have done without the support of his family.

"Scheana sat down with me multiple times and asked, 'How can I help you?' and allowed me to get the job done and close the deal with Athletifreak," Davies shared. "I think for me personally and my team, this acquisition just means that we can do it. It takes a lot of hours, late nights, early mornings and stress. But it's hard work and worth it."

Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
