Former Britney Spears Dancer Dead at 32

Michael Stein, a professional dancer who toured with Britney Spears, has died. Stein's death was announced by his partner Kaylie Lee on Wednesday, which would have been Stein's 33rd birthday.

"I’m not sure I could ever find the perfect words to summarise what Michael meant to me," Lee wrote on Instagram. "As tears roll down my face, all I can think about is the incredibly huge hole that is left in all of us knowing that he is no longer here."

Lee revealed Stein died on Dec. 23, 2023. She did not disclose a cause of death.

"10 years of adventure, laughs, love and living out our dreams in LA together," Lee continued. "He got to travel the world doing what he loved; dancing, choreographing, creating, videoing, assisting people he absolutely adored and looked up to…and I know he loved every minute of it."

Stein and Lee shared a dog named Bulleit, who Lee called "the best decision we ever made together."

"Michael, in honour of you, I promise to never give up," Lee concluded, "to keep fighting for the dream and to keep living for the best moments in life."

Stein was the dance captain on Spears' Piece of Me tour in 2018 and performed alongside the superstar during her Las Vegas residency.

In addition, Stein worked with artists like Kylie Minogue, Dove Cameron and Little Mix.

He also performed on TV shows like Glee, American Idol and America's Got Talent.

Stein was 31 years old.
