Former Bad Boy President and Label Sued for Sexual Assault, Negligence
The lawsuit comes after Bad Boy founder Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura accused him of sexual assault and abuse in a lawsuit, claims that he denied
Harve Pierre, the former president of Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment (also known as Bad Boy Records), is reportedly being sued for sexual assault and negligence by a company executive who claimed she was a victim of grooming.
In the lawsuit filed in New York County Supreme Court, per Rolling Stone, the woman, identified as Jane Doe, alleged that Pierre preyed on her "on multiple occasions in New York City and other locations throughout the country."
The complaint reportedly states, "Pierre used his position of authority as plaintiff's boss to groom, exploit, and sexually assault her. Pierre engaged in a year-long pattern of grooming plaintiff, leading to sexual harassment of plaintiff, and sexual assault."
According to the lawsuit obtained by Rolling Stone — in which Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy Records and Combs Enterprises are also defendants — Pierre allegedly raped the accuser several times from 2016 to 2017, causing her emotional, physical and mental harm. She requested an undisclosed amount that will be "fully and fairly compensate."
The complaint reportedly claims that the "defendants knew or should have known that Pierre was unfit to be in a position of authority before Pierre sexually assaulted plaintiff," and accused them of not being able to "properly supervise" Pierre amid his connection to "individuals like plaintiff."
Pierre met Combs when they were both students at Howard University and began working for Bad Boy in 1992.
"We have recently become aware of a lawsuit filed in New York by a former employee," a spokesperson for Bad Boy told The Messenger Wednesday. "The allegations are from many years ago that were never brought to the attention of the company. Neither the plaintiff nor the executive are current employees of the company. We are now investigating the allegations, and our top priority is the safety and well-being of our employees."

Per Rolling Stone, the accuser filed the lawsuit under the Adult Survivors Act, which gives sexual assault survivors in New York one year to file a civil sexual assault complaint, whether the statute of limitations has run out or not. The year is up on Friday.
The Messenger has attempted to contact Pierre for comment.
Danity Kane alum Aubrey O'Day also weighed in about the lawsuit against Pierre.
"Oh man what I experienced at the hands of this man. Looks like the deep dives r starting to rise up," she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The lawsuit comes as Combs' former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, sued the entertainer, alleging that he sexually assaulted, trafficked and physically abused her during their 10-year relationship. Ventura also filed her complaint under the ASA.
She claimed she was physically assaulted by the musician; he allegedly plied her with drugs, forcing her to have sex with multiple male sex workers while he masturbated and filmed, he made her hold his gun in her purse as an intimidation tactic and raped her in her home after she tried to leave him.
In the lawsuit, Ventura also claimed that Combs blew up rival rapper Kid Cudi's car after he expressed romantic interest in her. Combs, through his attorney, denied the claims.
The two reached a settlement one day after her filing, and Combs' attorney said the agreement is "in no way an admission of wrongdoing."
If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual assault, help is available 24 hours a day through RAINN's National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673.
