‘Bachelorette’ Alum Becca Kufrin Teases Second Wedding Celebration After ‘Stress-Free’ Courthouse Ceremony (Exclusive)

When Becca Kufrin looks back on her wedding day with Thomas Jacobs, she still can't believe how chill it was.

Instead of waiting for an elaborate celebration with hundreds of guests, the Bachelor in Paradise stars decided to make their own rules and privately say "I do." 

"We were originally supposed to get married Oct. 7 pre-baby. Obviously it did not happen because I had baby Benson," Kufrin exclusively shared with The Messenger at Swirl Boutique's Fizz the Season holiday party in Carlsbad, Calif. "The date that we were supposed to get married, we were laying in bed, and I was like, 'Do you just want to go to the courthouse one of these days and just do an easy, simple, carefree one, and then we'll still do a party in a year or so?'"

Jacobs agreed, and on Oct. 13, the couple went to a San Diego courthouse and got married with help from close friend, ordained minster and Bachelor Nation member Mikey Planeta. 

"He did a very sweet five-minute spiel, and then we had our server at a restaurant as our witness sign the papers," Kufrin recalled. "We met him that day. His name is Dylan. He was fabulous. And that was it. It was so low-key, so chill, so affordable, so stress-free. It was lovely."

While the newlyweds are currently focused on being the best parents to their baby boy Benson, both mom and dad have thought about having a second wedding celebration next year.

"In 2024 — probably around the same time that we got married — we will most likely do a reception party with our friends and family to still celebrate with everyone but we still have to plan that," she said. "I think once we actually do a reception or something bigger, I'm hoping at that point Benson will be walking so he could maybe walk me down the aisle or do a little dance with me. We'll see." 

For now, Kufrin is getting ready to celebrate her first holiday season as a mom. As part of Swirl Boutique's annual event, the Bachelorette alum was able to introduce hundreds of shoppers and fans to her wine line titled Bourdon.

Featuring a cuvée pinot noir rosé, a grand cuvée and a sparkling syrah, Bourdon offers great gifts for the wine lover on your holiday list. 

"I would definitely want to highlight the sparkling syrah for the holidays because it is this deep, beautiful burgundy red," Kufrin said. "It's a hit. We will soon be launching our first non-sparkling red blend, which is delicious."

As 2023 comes to an end, the reality star can't help but raise a glass and celebrate all of the milestones her family has reached in the past year.

"I feel like since I've met Thomas, every year gets truly better and better," she said before giving credit to all the moms raising children. "Women are badass. They don't hear it enough, and it's just really cool that I've gone through it, and I birthed this beautiful boy into the world, and he's just absolutely incredible. He's just my everything."
