When it comes to love, Ariana Grande is starting the new year in a good position.

After settling her divorce from Dalton Gomez in October 2023, the Grammy winner is experiencing another chance at love thanks to Ethan Slater. The Broadway actor similarly ended his relationship with estranged wife Lilly Jay in 2023 after five years of marriage and a child together.

"They really fell in love with each other and are very serious about one another and where this is going," a source exclusively tells The Messenger. "They are very happy."

While the reported pair has avoided posing on red carpets together or completing other Hollywood relationship milestones, the insider says this romance is headed in the right direction.

As the source explained, "The relationship is very much real."

The Messenger has reached out to Grande and Slater's reps for comment.

In recent months, the "Yes, And" singer has been spotted on dates with the actor, including the Broadway showing of Gutenberg! The Musical! as well as showing support for her boyfriend at multiple Spamalot performances. Grande and Slater met while filming their upcoming Wicked films.

"I am so eternally grateful for all of the feelings I was lucky enough to feel so deeply this year. Mine and Glinda's alike," she wrote in an Instagram Story last month. "The unfathomably hard ones and the inexplicably happy ones. I feel more human than ever. I feel more deeply than ever. I feel softer and stronger, all at once."

Grande released her new single "Yes, And" Friday.
