Angelina Jolie Reveals She’s Currently Single After Splitting From Brad Pitt 7 Years Ago

Seven years after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, the actress revealed she is not currently dating anyone.

"I don't really have…a social life," she told WSJ. Magazine in Monday's digital cover story, revealing that she is single.

Jolie said that her "closest friends are refugees," adding, "Maybe four out of six of the women that I am close to are from war and conflict."

The Salt star elaborated, "There's a reason people who have been through hardship are also much more honest and much more connected, and I am more relaxed with them... They've confronted so much in life that it brings forward not just strength, but humanity."

Her children are the main people she trusts. "They are the closest people to me and my life, and they're my close friends," Jolie shared. "We're seven very different people, which is our strength."

The Oscar winner said that she isn't by impressed by Hollywood as an industry and won't be staying in Los Angeles for too much longer.

"I grew up in quite a shallow place," she reflected. "Of all the places in the world, Hollywood is not a healthy place. So you seek authenticity."
