Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes aren't letting recent headlines get in their way.

During Tuesday's episode of their new iHeartRadio podcast, Amy & T.J., the pair — whose exes Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig have reportedly been dating for the past six months — spoke about the "headlines" circulating about their relationship and why they've chosen not to "clap back."

"There were other headlines this week with agendas, and we absolutely anticipated that that was going to happen," Holmes said, seemingly referring to Shue and Fiebig's reported romance. "There's nothing we could do about those. But this place, this podcast and this platform, we are committed to a place that is not going to be about gossip. This is not going to be a place where we clap back at headlines. We are not going to get in that back-and-forth games because gossip is toxic.

"And so today we are here, we are happy, we are healthy, we are grateful, we are touched by the response. We are onward and upward," he added.

After the former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-hosts' relationship went public last year, Page Six and People reported earlier this month that their exes bonded over their shared situation.

Robach and Holmes were fired from ABC News in January after the Daily Mail published photos of the pair together. They made their red carpet debut as a couple Dec. 1 after making their relationship Instagram official last month with the announcement of their Amy & T.J. podcast.

During their recent podcast episode, Holmes and Robach got candid about putting their relationship on full display while attending iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball 2023.

"We flew out to L.A. proudly, didn't have to duck paparazzi, walked right off that plane holding hands, it was amazing," Robach said. "It's funny how the smallest things feel so great and that was one of them."

"We're proud stepping off the plane. Take our picture," Holmes added. "It was no small thing for us."

"It was the first time we ever stepped out officially as a couple in front of cameras that we actually knew were going to be there and didn't mind and smiled, and we had fun," Robach responded. "We were just being us. Apparently that means being handsy and a lot of PDA, but you know what? We're in love. We're happy. I don't know how else to act."

"When I put my arm around you, my hand ends up lower than the waist. It's just there," he confessed. "It could be sweet, but it could be sexualized or viewed as such."
