Amanda Bynes Pauses Podcast Production Because She Can’t Get A-List Guests
The actress exclusively shared news of her show, 'Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast,' in an interview with The Messenger last month
Amanda Bynes is taking a break from her podcast after one episode. In a video shared to her Instagram Story on Sunday, the actress and child star said although her debut went "really well" and "the response has been great," she was having trouble booking A-list celebrities as guests.
"We were not able to get the type of guests that I want on this show," she said, adding, "Like Jack Harlow or Drake or Post Malone."
She added, "Maybe one day if we're able to get those types of guests on the show we will resume the podcast. But for now, I'm taking a pause on it."
She ended by thanking her fans who tuned in to the podcast.
The What I Like About You alum exclusively shared news of her show, Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast, featuring her "best friend," biochemist Paul Sieminski, in an interview with The Messenger last month.
"The podcast will be about the entertainment industry," she said at the time. "We toured a studio yesterday and will start filming in December."
"Having his beautiful mind being a part of this podcast is just going to bring it to another level because he's gonna ask great questions, and I think he'll carry most of the weight in terms of topics of conversation," Bynes added of Sieminski.
