Alex and Henry’s Iconic Love Story Unfolds in the ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ Trailer

Prime Video has been teasing the Red, White & Royal Blue movie for weeks now with teaser trailers of select scenes — including the infamous polo scene taken from the beloved Casey McQuiston novel the movie is based on. Now fans can feast on the full-length Red, White & Royal Blue trailer and better understand how Alex (Taylor Zakhar Perez) and Henry's (Nicholas Galitzine) love story unfolds.

Red, White & Royal Blue is about what would happen if the First Son of the first female president of the United States were to fall in love with the second-born prince of England. It's a rivals-to-lovers story and was Good Reads' fan-favorite book of 2019. Prime Video announced it would be producing the adaptation in 2020, and fans of McQuiston's novel have been thirsting for details ever since. Now, after key art, first-look photos and teaser trailers, the full-length trailer is finally here.

The two-minute video gives a new glimpse of the infamous polo match along with some other iconic scenes from the book, including Alex and Henry's first kiss on New Year's Eve, birthday karaoke and bonding at the children's hospital. Book fans will also recognize some priceless quotes from the book coming from Sarah Shahi's Zahra and maybe even get teary when Uma Thurman, as President Claremont, tells Alex he needs to figure out if he "feels forever" about Henry.

Skeptics will remain doubtful until the premiere, but the trailer indicates that the movie is sticking pretty close to the book (minus Alex's very obviously missing sister June). Luckily, there are only a few more weeks to wait before we can actually see the movie.
