The Manhattan mansion of notorious socialite scammer Dina Wein Reis is relisted at a 15% discount.

The eight-bedroom home, on the Upper West Side, was listed for $55 million on Nov. 9 after going off the market earlier this year. The townhouse was built in 1910 and purchased by Wein Reis and her husband in 1996. It was also where she brought Fortune 500 company executives who became victims of her scheme.

Wein Reis scammed Fortune 500 companies into selling her products for steep discounts under the guise that she’d help them access new markets or that they’d be donated to charities, schools and other institutions, press outlets reported at the time. Instead, she sold the goods for profits that she pocketed, amassing $100 million in wealth. She was sentenced to 19 months in prison in 2013.

The mansion first hit the market in April 2022 for $65 million, but was listed for rent at $160,000 per month in December after it didn’t sell. The seller is the Reis Family Trust, which has Dina Wein Reis as an adviser, Cottage Gardens reported last year.

The home was renovated in 2022, according to the listing by Noble Black of Douglas Elliman, “coupling its grand, old-world heritage and charm to that of modern sophistication.”

The townhouse’s ceilings are 13-feet tall on average and it has six fireplaces. The six-story home has a gym, wine cellar, theater and a rooftop garden with pear trees and “exotic florals.” Its sixth-floor glass conservatory has sweeping views of the Hudson River.
