‘Are You Ready, Boots?’ Nancy Sinatra’s Former Los Angeles Home, Listed for $3 Million, Finds Buyer
The 1964 home is a 'Mid-Century gem with a glamorous Hollywood history'
Nancy Sinatra’s former Beverly Hills residence, where the "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" singer lived in the 1960s, has found a buyer just one week after it listed for $2.95 million.
The 2,785 square-foot house on Betty Lane includes a large living room with a martini bar. The gated home, which still has its '60s decor, along with an original kitchen, dining room and swimming pool, listed on Oct. 3 and is currently under contract. Listing agent Steve Frankel didn't immediately respond to The Messenger's request to identify the buyer.
The mid-century, four-bedroom home may appear modest, but it has a rich Hollywood history. The property was built in 1964 for Nancy Sinatra, the oldest daughter of legendary singer and actor Frank Sinatra, according to the listing. Nancy Sinatra's 1966 “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’” song topped U.S. and U.K. charts upon its release and was nominated for three Grammys. She was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2020.
A spokesperson for the property told The Messenger that the home was later purchased by German-born film director Sobey Martin, who is known for two 1960s TV series, “The Time Tunnel” and “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.” The property's current owner is Orly Frank, a yoga and pilates trainer whose parents bought the home from Martin, they told The Messenger.
