If You Ever Wanted to Smell Like an Espresso Martini, It’s Your Lucky Day
Absolut Vodka and Kahlúa are teaming up on a new espresso martini-inspired fragrance
You now can not only drink an espresso martini, you can smell like one.
Absolut Vodka and Kahlúa are teaming up with Imaginary Authors, a perfume company, to release a fragrance inspired by espresso martinis, the companies announced Tuesday.
Vodka and coffee-flavored liquor are key ingredients in espresso martinis, which have surged in popularity over the last few years.
For a limited time the $105 fragrance will come with a coupe-style bottle, to mimic the look of a classic martini glass.
This is not the first espresso martini-inspired goodie. Last year, Absolut launched an espresso martini handbag.
The perfume is being launched in honor of the drink's 40th anniversary, and its name, Blend No. 83, is based on the year the cocktail was created – 1983. Blend No. 83 is available for pre-order and will begin shipping early next month.
This is, unsurprisingly, the first espresso martini perfume, according to the companies.
