A gated, 13-bedroom oceanfront mansion listed for $45 million in the Dominican Republic would break records for the most expensive home sale in the country's history if it gets its asking price, according to its listing agent, Sergio Llach.

Whoever purchases the home, called “Villa Farallon” by its current owners, will also get its artwork, furniture, two golf carts, baby-grand piano, and a Range Rover, according to Llach. Live-in staff will be available to stay on.

“The new owners of Villa Farallon need only to bring their toothbrushes and enjoy from day one; this is a fully turnkey operation,” said Llach in a description of the estate provided to The Messenger.

The property was purchased by a Canadian couple, Stanley and Conchita Meek, 10 years ago. The two replaced an abandoned house with the current luxury home, which was completed in 2022. The two have entertained a host of celebrity and billionaire guests at their estate, according to Llach, though he declined to name them. However, Bloomberg said Puerto Rican singer and rapper Bad Bunny was among them.

The estate located in the DR's Punta Aguila neighborhood includes a main house with six bedrooms and three staff rooms, as well as a separate guest house featuring additional bedrooms. The home has a soundproof nightclub, home-theater and a guard house for security. Its windows are “hurricane proof,” according to the listing. Also on the property are a jacuzzi and a heated pool powered by solar energy.

Though the Meeks did not build the home with the intention of selling it later, the couple has  decided to downsize and is building another, smaller home nearby, according to Llach.
